Black Box to Announce Collaboration Solution and Control System at ISE 2016

Collaboration Solution and Control System at ISE 2016

Black Box will exhibit at the Integrated System Europe 2016 (ISE) Conference booth #10-R125 in Amsterdam RAI, NL from February 9-12. The company will announce its new collaboration solution and control system as well as showcase its video distribution system and portfolio of broadcast and media-ready KVM solutions.

Coalesce™, the new wireless BYOD collaboration solution enables any number of users to efficiently share and manipulate any type of content from any device over a WiFi or Ethernet network. The turnkey solution connects to displays in conference rooms, meeting rooms, and huddle spaces. It boasts features like live streaming (desktop, docs, images, videos, and apps), display-side interaction with multi-touch support, and unlimited user posts. The device also acts as a wireless access point, which enables visitors to collaborate while keeping the corporate network secure. The collaboration system is available for purchase in Q2 2016.

Also new to the Black Box product lineup, the control system enables users to control technology in the room over IP. It turns items on/off with discrete input/output and send commands via Ethernet and serial protocols. Example applications include video switching for one or more displays, lighting control, HVAC control, and open/close control for motorised items (e.g., blinds, doors, vents, etc.). At ISE, the control system ControlBridge™ will be connected to AV and KVM systems. Black Box booth visitors can interact with both systems using the 12" touch screen panel. The control system is available for purchase Q2 2016.
In addition to the new product releases, Black Box will also showcase its popular video distribution system, MediaCento IPX, and high-performance KVM products for command and control solutions.
MediaCento IPX displays video and audio to an unlimited number of screens across a local area network. The video distribution system is scalable, easy to set up, includes built-in video wall support, and features the industry’s first network+matrix switch. 4K UHD functionality is coming Q2 2016.

The company’s KVM solutions enable broadcasters to improve operational workflow, enhance user ergonomics, and protect critical systems. The following products will be demonstrated in combination with each other to showcase the unique operational benefits that can be obtained with a multi-layered KVM system design:
